In recognition of Alcohol Awareness month, we were able to add to our media campaign through our Project Northland program. Project Northland is an evidenced based curriculum for teens encouraging them to not give in to the pressures of drinking alcohol. The curriculum was implemented to 319 local middle school youth in 6th and 7th grade students. The culminating project for 6th graders was to develop an anti-drinking poster. We selected the 4 best posters and those posters can now be seen at bus shelters in local communities.
